Grade Return with LMS

For each assignment, there is a process that must be followed in order for the students grades to sink to your LMS.

Steps

These steps apply to the students' actions. 

1. For each assignment/link in your LMS, the student should click the link that opens the CompTIA learning platform.
2. The student will then complete the learning resource, such as:
   • Lab Simulations
   • Section Exams
   • Custom Exams
3. The score is automatically sent to your LMS depending on whether your LMS course design team or LMS administrators have used LTI or a plugin.
   • If using LTI, your students will see and click the Submit Score button to send the score back to your LMS.
   • If using a plugin, the score is automatically sent back to your LMS.
4. Close the CompTIA learning platform browser tab. 
   As a matter of best practice, the student SHOULD ALWAYS close the platform after completing their resource and/or clicking the Submit Score Button. 
   • Note: If the students continue progressing through the assignments in the CompTIA learning platform, grades may not sink to the LMS.
5. The student will repeat Steps 1 through 4 for every assignment/link in your LMS.
