Green checks next to items in your course outline are meant as a convenient indicator that you have passed an item and can be helpful to see what is complete, at a glance.
Different types of items have different pass requirements for green checks to appear.
Criteria for Earning a Green Check
Significance
- For labs and quizzes, you can have recorded scores for items, even without seeing a green check mark.
- What CompTIA determines to be passing for these course items is somewhat arbitrary, and the presence or absence of checks in your outline is not a requirement to advance past a lab or exam.
- Instructors can see lab and exam scores in their reports, even those attempts that did not earn a check.
- Grades for all recorded attempts on an item can be viewed in the Reports section for each course, as found on your account homepage.
Example of the Score Sheet in the Reports area:
Note 1: Spending less than 10 seconds viewing a fact sheet or video will not cause any score to record to the database for the item.
