REGISTER LTI ADVANTAGE TOOL (Available for Moodle v4 or newer)
1. Log into Moodle as an Admin
2. Click Site administration
3. Click the Plugins tab
4. In Activity modules > External tool section, click Manage tools
5. Click configure a tool manually
6. Tool settings section, be sure the following settings are configured:
Name: CompTIA CertMaster LTI Advantage
Tool URL: https://partner.testout.com
LTI version: LTI 1.3
Public key type: Keyset URL
Public keyset: https://partner.testout.com/openid/keyset
Initiate login URL: https://partner.testout.com/openid/authorize
Redirection: URI(s): https://partner.testout.com/openid/idtoken
Customer Parameters:
course_start_date=$CourseSection.timeFrame.begin
course_end_date=$CourseSection.timeFrame.end
resource_available_start_date=$ResourceLink.available.startDateTime
Tool configuration usage: Show in activity chooser and as a preconfigured tool
Default launch container: Embed, without blocks
Check the box for: Supports Deep Linking

7. Expand Services section, be sure the following settings are configured:
IMS LTI Assignment and Grade Services: Use this service for grade sync and column management
IMS LTI Names and Role Provisioning: Use this service to retrieve members' information as per privacy settings
Tool Settings: Use this service
8. Expand Privacy section, be sure the following settings are configured:
Share launcher's name with tool: Always
Share launcher's email with tool: Always
Accept grades from the tool: As specified in Deep Linking definition or Delegate to teacher
9. Save changes
10. Select the Tool configuration details option on the tool that was created. This is the hamburger looking icon next to the LTI Advantage tool as installed in your Moodle LMS.
11. Register your Platform ID, Client ID, Public keyset URL, Access token URL, and Authentication request URL, via the registration link provided by your CompTIA Representative. Or, if circumstances warrant you can copy and paste these into an email and send them to your CompTIA Representative.
