Create a Continuing Education 1-Year License Account

Kudos to you if you’ve made it to this page because you probably are looking to further your education in order to get a better job or develop the skills that your employer requires of you. If you’ve previously used TestOut products as a student in a traditional classroom setting (e.g., high school, college, vocational-technical school, etc.), you’ll have to now create a new Continuing Education (CE) account.

So, if you’re brand new to TestOut or a returning customer wanting to have CE access, the following instructions will teach you how to set up your new 1-Year License CE account.

Users wanting to purchase a new 1-Year license should follow these steps:

1. Go to www.testoutce.com
2. Hover over Training and select Course Catalog from the drop down.
3. Find the course(s) you are interested in purchasing and click on Purchase next to the corresponding course(s).
   Note: You can choose to purchase the Library Suite or an individual course. You can click on any course title to view more information.
4. Select Purchase.
5. In the right pane, verify the number of 1-Year Licenses you want to purchase, then select Checkout.
6. In the Purchase pop-up window, enter in your information for each field, then select Continue to payment.
7. Enter in your payment information and then select Pay now.

After Step 6, you’ll be sent an email with an access key for your 1-Year License and a link to access your account. Follow these next steps for either: New CE Accounts or Current/Past CE Accounts:

Instructions for NEW CE ACCOUNTS:

1. Go to https://labsimapp.testout.com
2. Click Create Account.
3. Fill out the form including access key. Be aware that the password field is case sensitive.
   Note: To finish setting up your account, you will need to enter in your phone number to receive a confirmation text. If you’ve already created a previous account with the same phone number, the system will not allow you to reuse it. In this case you can enter in the following key in the Phone Number field: 801911.
4. Click Create Account.

Instructions for CURRENT OR PAST CE USERS:

1. Go to https://labsimapp.testout.com
2. Enter your username and password for your existing CE or past account.
   Note: If you cannot remember your username or password, click Forgot your username or password link and follow the steps. 
3. After logging into your existing or past account, select the +ADD Button.
4. Enter your new access key. Your 1-year license is now active on your account.
