How to allow multiple attempts for a custom exam accessed through LMS integration links

In order to allow multiple attempts for a custom exam that is linked through your LMS you will need to set a schedule for the exam inside of TestOut's LabSim interface. 

Setting multiple attempts inside of your LMS will not allow multiple attempts as TestOut can't see that setting.

You will need to login to your instructor account on TestOut.  You can do this by clicking on a link for any assignment inside of your LMS, then click on the home icon in the top left area. Follow the steps below to schedule the exam.

1. 1. Click the Custom Exams Tab.
      
      
      
   2. Across from your exam click the Schedule Exam hot link.
      
      
      
   3. Select the class you want to schedule the exam for. 
      
      
      
   4. Select  Set Class Schedule.
      
      
      
   5. Set the start and end date for the exam.
      
      
      
   6. Set the number of attempts you want the students to have.
      
      
      Note: If you are wanting unlimited attempts, uncheck the box next to Limit the number of attempts.
      
      
   7. Click the save button.
      
      
      

This schedule will allow students who have not yet taken the exam to have multiple attempts.
