Use the TestOut Skills Guarantee

At TestOut, we are so confident in students who are Pro Certified that we are willing to back up their skills with a guarantee to employers.

The steps require action from someone at the school with administrator rights as well as a student and instructor.

An individual with administrator rights at the facility initiates the process.

Steps

Administrator

1. Click Campus Details.
2. Select Campus Settings.
3. Check the box Participate in the Skills Guarantee program.
4. Click Confirm.
5. Students can now participate in the program with the approval of their instructor.

Student

1. Pass a TestOut Pro Certification exam (Office Pro is excluded).
2. Click the Certifications
3. Within the congratulations bar click the more button.
4. Select Skills Guarantee.
5. Click Request next to the respective certification.
6. A Request Submitted confirmation appears.
7. Click Close.
8. Wait for approval from your instructor.
9. Once approved, a red dot appears by Skills Guarantee within the Certifications
10. Click Skills Guarantee.
11. Click Download.
12. Warning: A pop-up blocker may prevent the certificate from appearing. Be sure to allow pop-ups from TestOut.
13. Open the file.
14. Select to download.
15. Select to print a hardcopy or save a softcopy.
16. Provide this guarantee to an employer when applying for a position that correlates to your skills.

Instructor

1. When a new Skills Guarantee Request is submitted, a red dot appears by Campus Details.
2. Click Campus Details.
3. A red dot appears by Skills Guarantee Requests.
4. Click Skills Guarantee Requests.
5. If unfamiliar with our guarantee, please read What is the Skills Guarantee?
   1. Review terms and conditions
   2. Click OK
6. One or more students appear by name, Pro Certification passed and their respective class.
7. Under View you can filter requests.
8. Click Approve All or only Approve individual students.
   Note: You are not required to approve all student requests, please use your discretion.
9. Click Agree to the Terms and Conditions.
10. Approved status appears.
11. A confirmation is automatically sent to the student.
