Problem:
If you click to begin a lab simulation, a new tab pops up, but it is completely white with no loading bar, the most common cause is an incompatible setting of a third-party security software, Kaspersky. The setting causes Kaspersky to inject its script into elements of our page which then causes the labs to fail to properly load beyond a blank white screen.
Solution:
1. Open Kaspersky and click on the Settings gear. Then find and disable this setting: Additional > Network >Traffic Processing: Inject script into web traffic to interact with web pages. (See attached video demonstration at the bottom of the article, if needed.)
2. After disabling the setting, close your browser completely, reopen it, and then completely clear your browser cache before going back into LabSim to launch the lab again. This step must not be skipped.
If your lab still opens to a plain white window, please restart your computer, consider whitelisting *.testout.com in your security software, and/or call or chat in with TestOut's Support department for further assistance. Phone: 1-800-877-4889 Opt 2. Hours are between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm Mountain time, Monday - Friday.
Note:
