TestOut does not support Respondus Lockdown Browser.
We have not tested our products with this browser and we suspect certain things will not work. Regardless, some people have reported getting at least partial functionality for TestOut exams with that browser. TestOut's technical support team is not able to troubleshoot problems that may present in that browser. Nevertheless, we want our customers to have success and below is the support/advice we can offer.
Below are the TestOut domain/subdomain that would need to be whitelisted in the Lockdown browser configuration for TestOut exams to have any chance of working. This article lists a few more sites, if it still doesn't work.
While largely untested and unconfirmed, we've had reports or have suspicions that the following technical issues may be encountered when using Respondus Lockdown Browser with TestOut:
Labs may not work because there may not be a way to enable the pop-ups for cdn.testout.com in the browser.
Some people suggest that the tests will only work if accessed through LMS/LTI integration.
Some people report that right-clicking is disabled, which could cause issues in labs.
Some people report that the F1-F12 keys do not function, which could be a problem in some of the lab simulations that utilize them.
